Mattermost LDAP not working

Hi Boris,

Unfortunately, I have to report that Mattermost is not syncing users from the user app. Could this be an LDAP issue? There’s also a notification about updating to version 11. Since our team changes frequently, this functionality is essential. I’ve sent you the log (nube61.syncloud.it).

Can you login using any user?

The current users are not a problem—I added two new ones in the Users app, and although they are visible in Nextcloud, they do not appear in Mattermost. I also cannot invite them.

Can you try it please.

Also I tried this use case and it worked:

  1. Creating a new user1 in Users app
  2. Login to Mattermost with user1
  3. Chatted with admin user
  4. Logged in using admin user and invited a user1 to a channel

Hi Boris,

thanks for your work. In the Mattermost admin area, one of the users I had created in the User App appeared and was functional. The other user was visible in the User App list but not in Mattermost. I deleted and recreated him in the User App, assigned him to the team in the Mattermost admin, and now he is also functional. It looks like the problem is solved.
