Files not loading on Nextcloud app

so I’m winning but very slowly…

I finally managed to get it to activate. I can now view syncloud using my domain…

Next issue… when I log into the users app it goes on a loop asking me to update my password and won’t actually allow me to administer the users… Any idea?

Are you trying to login to Users with the same user you activated the device? It thinks your are a regular user non-admin.

So I’ve now managed to log into users… Might have been doing exactly what you said…

I’ve re-inputted the users that were originally on there using the same user names and details… I’m guessing that I need to get the users / database to make the connection between the users and the nextcloud database? Currently they’re not recognised when trying to log into nextcloud…

If you added users in Users app they should be able to login to any app, what error do you get trying to login under any of those users?

Something weird is going on… So just tried to log into the users app using the same email and password as I log into syncloud and it’s just told me the username and/or password are unrecognised

Tried a couple of users and I get the same response with them too!

It took a couple of go’s to log in but I do still have all of my users displaying using Putty

I’ve coloured over the user names and ip for obvious reasons…

This isn’t making an awful lot of sense to me?

Is this a user you activated the device with?

If you think it is and it still cannot login to nextcloud or users (not just to set its own password but to create other users) then the easiest option is to reactivate the device again from Settings - Activation to the same domain then try to login to Users with that account.

I’ve activated syncloud using an email address…
name@domain.co.uk used same username to log into the users account.

None of the usernames use emails as usernames. They all use nicknames. The only link obviously is that as it’s my email address my username on the users app is linked to my email account.

Yes I can reset and reactivate syncloud… I have now done this a few times… There must be a reason why this isn’t taking and not giving me access to the users and in turn not linking to the nextcloud data?

Ok, when you activate device what exactly you enter into username, user@domain or just user, probably that is the problem, could you try activating with just user?

Hi, so reactivated just using ‘user’ as username. After much messing around and for some reason the syncloud box taking 12-24 hours to take the reset and become usable. I can now see the basic menus using internal ip, external ip.

domain address does not work… I also can’t view any app. They all come up with the following error…

Which of course means I can’t get anywhere near the users app to start recovering the users and accessing the nextcloud data… Any ideas what could cause this?

As an aside it shows all options to be insecure…

is this inside or outside of your LAN?
It should work at least inside if your DNS servers are good (sometimes DNS servers coming from ISP are not good, so you need to switch to something proper like google 8.8.8.8 or cloudflare 1.1.1.1)

If you want to access from outside your LAN you need to enable External access as you are doing on the last screenshot, the error means you are trying to enable IPv6 network access but probably you do not have IPv6 support.
Try disabling IPv6?
