No rotation on log file

Hi ,

As i look at problem with my renew certificate, i saw than on this file

  • nginx_public_access.log : size 1329 MB
  • nginx_public_error.log : size 326 MB
  • uwsgi_public.log : size 3MB

No rotation is apply.

How can reduce the size ?

right, we are migrating these files to syslog for that reason, testing right now, if all goes well it well be release as part of the upcoming release.
for now you can:

snap stop platform
rm -rf /var/snap/platform/common/log/*.log
snap start platform

We have just released a system update which includes the these log files migration to syslog. After the upgrade you can simply remove them.
