System won't upgrade

Hi Boris, - hope you are well. I’m able to upgrade the installer (now on 300).

The system then shows it is ready for upgrade - I’m currently on 1203 and it is offering me 1236 but it then doesn’t upgrade.
I’m presuming this is why I also cannot upgrade nextcloud?
I’ve sent the log just now.

Can you run this ssh command:

snap refresh platform

And post the output?

root@syncloud:~# snap refresh platform
error: cannot perform the following tasks:

  • Run post-refresh hook of “platform” snap if present (run hook “post-refresh”:

Ok, I found a problem looks like we try to regenerate certificates on upgrade and it takes more than 10 minutes and causing upgrade to timeout. I will push a fix and let you know.

OK Thanks. Also, on another subject - access to the server only seems possible on firefox at the moment.

Can you try now?
It should fit chrome as well.
Update page may not correctly detect the upgrade finish so kljust refresh the page after two minutes (this was also fixed)

OK, upgrade was possible. Now server is on latest system and installer.
System: 1264
Installer: 300

Nextcloud refuses to upgrade - it remains on Version: 210624280

Also, the issue with the certificates remains - I can access by firefox but not chrome. Externally, no one can access even with firefox. I sent the log just now.

What Certificate - Logs page say?

This site can’t provide a secure connection

nextcloud.haydockpress.com uses an unsupported protocol.

ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

That is what I am getting on chrome and edge.

Only on firefox can I log in.

Something is preventing the certificate to be regenrerated. Can you use firefox to see what Certificate - Logs page say?

Feel free the send us a request to support email with private details so I can help.

Another quick workaround in this case is to try reactivating the same domain main name from Settings - Activation and then enabling external access again and adding users.
But I would like to get to the root cause of the issue as this should just work.

Let me know if this helps - otherwise I’ll try to reactivate the domain as you suggest

Also, I know it is a different topic but Nextcloud still is not updating. Currently stuck on : Version: 210624280

Reactivate please to see if that helps.

For nextcloud please create a separate thread.

Hi Boris,

I’ve just reactivated a couple of times using the same domain - it doesn’t help.

Could you send logs from Settings - Support?

Hi Boris, I sent them last night, did you see?
