When can we expect version 23?
With the new functions such as backup and own office, a quick update would be desirable.
I have built v23 will test today.
Sometimes it is desirable to wait for a first fix on a major upgrade as they usually break things (which is fine for me 3 steps forward one step back)
ok, I’m going to cross my fingers and update to 23
After the Nexcloud disaster with the 3.4.0 client, I’m scared of everything
Released to the store, please upgrade.
very strange…
I just updated… now I have this:
Updates
Check for updates
Note: upgrade System first if available before upgrading Installer.
System:2112231186
Installer:210929152
But, I still have Nextcloud 22.2.0, not 23.0.0…
Version
Nextcloud 22.2.0
Can you show Nextcloud app page from Apps?
Well, that only proves that Settings - Updates is a confusing page. We probably need to change it to show all available updates (system, installer, apps)
Working now … everything seems to work fine…
23.0.1 is due out later this week. Fyi…
I hope it comes out and updates on Syncloud …
The experience with 23.0.0 is being a disaster …
I’ve been syncing for 2-3 days without stopping …
.0’s on Nextcloud are always a problem (not just Nextcloud either). I always wait for at least 1 or preferably 2 maintenance releases before upgrading.
Everything went well for me after the update 211225439 on the 26th. this morning I had the following error message:
“Writing to the “apps” directory is not possible.
This can usually be fixed by giving the web server write access to the app directory or disabling the app store in the configuration file.”
Now I tried to do the update 211228447, but it won’t install.
I have sent the logs
what can i do?
Can you try again and send logs one more time, they seem to be not full.
Looks like you are forwarding the logs email which cuts the half of it, could you check include support
checkbox and send from the Support page?
From the logs you have no space available on your root file system (1Gb out of 1.8Tb left):
/dev/sda2 1922315172 1842297256 1850968 100% /
You can run df -h
to see yourself.
Ideally app store would make it clear to the user why it cannot install something.
It is better to not mix data and system that is why we recommend to activate external disk for app data.
I have noticed that the new “backup” has overfilled the memory. However, after deleting the files, I still have the same problems. What can I do?
