Credentials say invalid when i try to sign in uaing ayncloud login.

Do you mean this screen is not taking device login/passeord?

What about other apps?

The only other app that wont let me log in is Bitwarden

Do you use some special symbols in your password?  
Can you try adding a user admin/admin to test?

When I try to add a new admin it doesnt allow me to choose the admin group

For this app you need to use Create Account button first unfortunately.

Could you paste a screen of the new user page before saving?

Does your VPN account have the same `System username` and `Username` like in the doc:
