I’m using Immich over my home network, it returns now and then these errors. IPV4 local and ipv6 on. Most times are fine. Immich seems to upload 3 files at a time, on my network the upload over Wi-Fi seems to range from 6-9 MBps per file. The errors can be on both pictures and videos, but most are videos (takes too long? Most videos are 2-3 GB of size)

Is this happening usually at the end of upload (at 100% progress)?
Also do you use external storage or internal, SSD or SD card?

This seems to be a well known immich issue, it does not split big files and tries to upload them in one request (bad thing to do usually).

I can tweak few things if you give me the answers to the above.

No, at any time happens that. I have over 900 files to upload and sometimes after one or two happens that.

- S25 ultra over Wi-Fi 7, near the router
- I’m using a Raspberry Pi 500 with a very fast 256 GB USB Pen.
- It’s connected to the router by cable

Perhaps it needs more buffer and increased timeout time?

Could you try to reproduce the error and send logs from settings right away please?

I tried some few GB now, the files went through and it returned no errors… But:

- The amount of files sent didn’t change?! (I sent like 15 big videos, but the amount from sent didn’t change…)
- I went to the server (Raspberry Pi 500) and opened Immich. Many files seem to be corrupted (picture) and don’t open (or the app from Syncloud can’t open heic?)

Is it possible to send logs otherwise it is hard to say what is the real issue there.

I find no logs on the Android app; in the Syncloud device logs are enable but… Where are they to be found?

New chapter: on the server side (Raspberry Pi 500) I turned off transcoding and optimized settings, I also changed to a very fast 400 GB microSD. I want the original files and no extra processing. Nevertheless I get some upload errors as before.

My network is uploading at 60-100 MBps, files get done quickly but errors appear (on some only). My microSD is fast but I think it can’t write as fast as I see the upload?!

To note that Syncthing is working well and I have no issues.

Just tell me where to find the logs and I’ll send them to you

EDIT: I did a reset to Immich on Syncloud and turned off ALL transcoding stuff. I did upload now above 70 files and no issues. Can from the server side, changed that the upload is only TWO files at a time? Or the RAM buffer increased?

Syncloud device Settings - Support - send logs (include support).
Do this when you see error messages, otherwise logs will roll over time.
