strange they have no cert request TXT records that your device is constantly creating.

can you run this command multiple times waiting for few seconds between the retries until you see `ANSWER SECTION` like I see using the same command:

```auto
dig _acme-challenge.simoneburalli.syncloud.it TXT @8.8.8.8
```

my response most of the time

```auto
I get the ANSWER SECTION like yours only with the right…“timing” or rythm in repeating the command ;-). If I wait too long, no ANSWER SECTION.
just to rule out the dns itself, can you reactivate under different name to see if that gives you a cert? if not you can reactivate back to the original.
activation will reset user accounts!
Cert does not need any inbound port open or external access, it is based on dns.
But yes, let me know when you have time.
hi Boris,
my device cannot be reached anymore via webpage, but I see it through SSH. To reset the activation I did:
`rm /var/snap/platform/current/platform.db`
is there a way to perform the activation command via SSH in place of the web interface? Thanks
Can you open [https://ip](https://ip) in browser (not http)
Just tested your original domain name, I could get the cert in less then 2 minutes.
I think something is actively filtering your outbound DNS queries on port 53 or even any port.
I can try switching to DNS over HTTPS to make the filtering impossible but it would take time.
sorry the doc was wrong (fixed it), the right way to do it is:
```auto
snap stop platform
rm /var/snap/platform/current/platform.db
snap start platform

```
you can do it again and it should fix the web
