# Can connect remotely but not locally?

Hi I just connected my syncloud and am having some issue. I can connect and access my applications from my phone as long as I disconnect from my wifi network.
On my computer I can use the internal and external
address to login but not the domain address, it just ties out. However, while I can see my installed apps they time out and won’t open. Same goes with access to the nextcloud and openvpn I created. I can access them from my phone as long as I am not connected to my wifi.
Any idea what I might have setup incorrectly?

Could you tell you router name and model or you can google it yourself.
If that is the case I would say a router rwplacememt under $50 should be the simplest option.

It is a netgear c7800. It shows up on the list that was linked in the information you sent.

OK so I can connect with my computer connected by Lan but not by wifi.

Your router should have support for Nat loopback so either it is disabled or there is another DNS issue.
